Liberation Doc: My journey from Mounds, Illinois (pop 800) to Brooklyn NY has been sumthin'. . . . . .as a Black Woman thru rural Southern Illinois, Georgetown U and Med, 90's DC, Dance, FEMA (hurricanes and 9/11), Athletic Training, Medicine, Labor, Politics, Civil Rights. Thru 1 on 1, community, national and global health. In the suites and the streets. I've seen some things. I've learned some things. I've got a lot to share and a lifetime to learn. Liberation requires all of this. . .invested in our now and our future. And I am here for it.
